Its special formula keeps it inert in the standard application of steam and gas turbines and high-temperature flanges, so it can withstand hot air, steam, water, light fuel oil and lubricants can be resistant to crude oil and natural gas. The high-temperature flange is very suitable for working conditions with high requirements on the temperature and pressure of smooth and flat sealing surface during operation. During operation, plaster knife or rubber scraper is used to spread on the dry surface. As the sealing product will not solidify, but its consistency will change slightly to maintain flexibility and elasticity, there is no time requirement in use, and it can be put into operation immediately after the construction is completed without waiting. If it is necessary to repair the high-temperature sealing surface with scratch damage, it should be used in conjunction with Bocos high-temperature F series repair products. The shape and size of the blank of the high-temperature flange are accurate, its processing capacity is small and its cost is low during operation, the internal structure of the whole product is streamlined, and the forged flange generally contains less carbon than the cast flange and is not easy to rust, forgings are streamlined, compact in structure and superior in mechanical properties to cast flanges. In the process of making high-temperature flanges, if the forging process is improper, the phenomena of large or uneven crystal grains and hardening cracks will also occur, and the forging cost is higher than that of casting flanges. During operation, its forging can bear higher shear force and tensile force than the casting. The use advantage of high-temperature flange is that it can produce a more complex shape, the cost of the whole product is relatively low, and the forging advantage is that the internal structure is uniform and there is no air hole in the casting, inclusion and other harmful defects, from the production process to distinguish between casting flange and forging flange, such as centrifugal flange is a kind of casting flange.
