In the process of precision parts processing, in order to ensure the processing accuracy, before processing, the position of the workpiece on the machine tool should be determined and fixed to accept processing or testing. The process of positioning and clamping workpieces on a machine tool or fixture is called clamping. The installation of the workpiece in the numerical control workshop includes two aspects: Positioning: The process of determining the correct position of the workpiece on the machine tool or in the fixture is called positioning. Clamping: the operation of fixing the workpiece after positioning to keep its positioning position unchanged during processing is called clamping. The selection of the positioning datum of the jacket parts the main positioning datum of the jacket parts are the center of the inner and outer circles. The high coaxiality between the outer circular surface and the inner hole center requires repeated clamping processing, which is often the reference for each other in processing, so as to ensure the technical requirements of parts drawings. 2. Clamping scheme for sleeve parts (1) When precision parts are processed for sleeve parts with large wall thickness, three-jaw self-centering chuck can be directly used for clamping when the parts are positioned outside the circle, and the axial dimension of the outer circle is small, it can be combined with the processed end face for positioning and clamping, such as reverse claw clamping; When the workpiece is long, the center can be clamped, and then the machining accuracy can be judged according to the length of the workpiece. Whether the center frame or the follow-up Holder are added, and the 'one clip, one top, one support' is used for clamping. (2) When the inner hole of the set parts is positioned, it can be clamped by the heart shaft; When the coaxial degree of the inner and outer circles of the parts is required to be high, a small taper mandrel can be used for clamping; When the workpiece is longer; A small 60-degree conical surface can be processed at each end of the orifice, and two circles are used to position and clamp the top. (3) When the wall thickness of sleeve parts is small, that is, thin-walled sleeve parts, direct clamping with three-jaw self-centering chuck will cause workpiece deformation, axial clamping, rigid slit sleeve clamping and circular arc soft claw clamping can be adopted. 1)Axial clamping method. Axial clamping method is to change thin-walled sleeve parts from radial clamping to axial clamping. 2)Rigid slit sleeve clamping method. Thin-walled sleeve parts are clamped by three-jaw self-centering chuck. Parts processed by precision parts are only subject to the clamping force of three claws, with small clamping contact area and unbalanced clamping force, which is easy to deform parts.
